Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz Port added to IMX service by maritime consortium
The Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI) has included King Abdulaziz Port in the IMX service, which is run by a consortium that includes Milaha, X-Press Feeders, and Unifeeder. Three vessels carrying a total of 3,500 TEU will call at the ports of Jebel Ali, Khalifa, Nhava Sheva, Hazira, Mundra, and Hamad. Five new shipping services were added to Jeddah, Jubail, and Dammam in January, opening up new trade opportunities with 43 global ports. The move comes just two weeks after King Abdulaziz Port was added to Bengal Tiger Line’s newly launched India-Saudi-Iraq (ISI) shipping service.
