West Africa Container Terminal purchases 16 new terminal trucks in order to improve efficiency at Onne Port
West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) in Nigeria has installed 16 new terminal trucks to boost cargo handling and vessel turnaround time. APM Terminals Nigeria has committed $112 million in the terminal’s refurbishment and expansion, including the purchase of Mobile Harbour Cranes, Rubber Tyred Gantry cranes, empty handlers, terminal vehicles, and forklifts. The investment will also entail the extension of the current yard, a new workshop, a new terminal gate complex and the deployment of 600-plug reefer racks.
