CMA CGM launches new direct service to connect Bangladesh to Gulf regions
CMA CGM launches a new direct service from Bangladesh to the Gulf region, as well as connectivity to India. The Bangladesh India Gulf Express (BIGEX) will be the only direct flight connecting Bangladesh to Gulf regions such as Jebel Ali and Abu Dhabi, as well as Nhava Sheva and Mundra in India. BIGEX is expected to improve access to transshipment hubs, reduce transit times, and improve market accessibility in Chittagong. CMA CGM’s revenue increased by 33% over the previous year.
