ICTSI proposes AU$500 million expansion plan for Port of Melbourne’s VICT terminal
ICTSI has proposed to expand the Victoria International Container Terminal in the Port of Melbourne, which it wholly owns, with an investment of over AU$500m. The proposal includes developing the Webb Dock North Container Terminal in stages, which would boost VICT’s container capacity to 3.7 million TEU and allow for four container berths capable of servicing vessels up to 14,000 TEU. This expansion is expected to increase efficiency and enable larger ships to berth in Melbourne.
