Maersk sells Russia logistics sites to IG Finance Development Limited
Maersk has sold its Russia logistics sites in St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk to IG Finance Development Limited, as part of the company’s decision to divest all assets in Russia due to the country’s invasion of Ukraine. The transaction included a 28,750 m2 inland depot in Novorossiysk and a 23,500 m2 chilled and frozen warehouse in St. Petersburg. The divestment was completed on February 17, 2023, and all 50 employees will be offered employment as part of the new setup. IG Finance Development Limited has also reached an agreement with Arosa to operate facilities in St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk.
