MSC’s 15,000 TEU container vessel arrives in Pointe-Noire
MSC VIRGO, a 15,000 TEU container vessel from Mediterranean Shipping Company, has arrived at the Port of Pointe-Noire in Congo-Brazzaville as part of MSC’s Sub-Saharan Africa expansion plans. The new call is expected to improve direct and quick exchanges with Asia and Europe, as well as serve as a gateway for international trade, increasing volumes handled and contributing to Central Africa’s economic growth. This is a significant milestone in the development of the African port, and MSC’s renewed presence is an important component of its operations in Central Africa.
